The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero has congratulated the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Emir Aminu Bayero described Tinubu’s emergence as President-elect as a victory for Nigeria.
Emir Bayero described Bola Tinubu as a man with focus who has governed Lagos state from 1999 to 2007.
Alhaji Aminu Bayero stated this in a letter of congratulations to the President-elect.
“We are confident and convinced that your excellency will deliver the best for Nigerians based on your wealth if experience, leadership qualities, popularity and true Nationalist,” Bayero said.
According to a Statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Kano Emirate Council, Abubakar Balarabe Kofar Naisa, the Emir of Kano also prayed for the success of Bola Tinubu to have a peaceful and prosperous tenure.
